dubious "aureus" with the footnote: "Not verified and
possibly not an aureus, or, if in gold, struck with a die
for an antoninianus." Cohen cites it from Beger.![]() It is rather doubtful that an aureus was struck from antoninianus dies, it is more probable that it is a gilded antoninianus RIC 155, or an error of Beger's. |
